CAUSES OF INDIGESTION DURING PREGNANCY:

Indigestion during pregnancy, also known as dyspepsia, is common and can be caused by several factors:

1. Hormonal Changes: Increased levels of progesterone relax the muscles in the digestive tract, slowing down digestion and causing bloating and discomfort.

2. Growing Uterus: As the pregnancy progresses, the expanding uterus puts pressure on the stomach and intestines, which can lead to indigestion.

3. Slower Digestion: Pregnancy hormones slow down the digestive process, leading to a build-up of gas and bloating.
